CD Reviews

Another great comeback album!!!!
Steve | Kenosha, WI | 03/17/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"As technology constently advances, music can sound better too. unlike their first 3 albums (This is their fourth album), and because it's a comeback album, the drums guitars and Basses sound cleaner in this album (which was made in 1990s) older sounds from older albums are used with analog recording while some albums mad in the 90s are digital.

The Point is that a lot of albums that were made in the 1990s sound quality sounds cleaner. look at Varukers album Still Bullox but still here album, or even the more recent GBH albums and Decendents everything sucks and Adolescents comeback album OC Confidental.

The Business is a great band and this album is actually better than their first 3 albums. However, Mickey Fitz' voice is starting to crack a little because in the 3 previous albums, he did some fine singing for them and one of the best vocalists of all time for the punk catagory. Keep the Faith is also kind of a whacky album because Holiday in Seattle is basically making fun of Kurt Kobain and his suicide and screaming Backstreet Billy's got a gun in his hand!. Captain Oi is definitly reissuing this classic album so It might be wise to wait a little more time until it come out."
The Lost Business Album
Marc A. Coignard | Denver, CO United States | 11/27/2003
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Somehow, despite how much the Business' popularity has risen in the past decade, this album has been left out of most people's knowledge and memory of the band. I wish I knew why...its a great album! Better, in my humble opinion, then Saturday's Heros or The Truth, The Whole Truth, and Nothing But the Truth. I've had such a hard time locating this album (which was either lost or stolen...can't remember) that I almost doubted it existed, and feared I was losing my mind and made up a whole FRIGGIN album! But alas, it is here! Thank God someone has it to buy. The Business are as loud and proud as ever in this one, and deserves to be rated among the best Oi! albums in the 90s. I wish the band would play some of these songs at their shows, too. Especially the title track, and that lil number about Kurt Cobain blowing his brains out...its dated, but a classic! I also greatly wish the boys would play tracks from "Welcome To The Real World" which was their last TRULY great album. This, and their last two were good, but Real World was the diamond in the ruff of late 80s Oi!/Punk...anyway, back to this album. Yes, its real, and yes! Its good! So, get it! um...Oi! I'm done..."
