CD Reviews

Too hard to find :(

"It took me forever to find this CD.

Mona Lisa is my favorite song. A great CD for Cibbo Matto fans dying for anything they can get. Don't play any of these crazy used prices though not worth it.

14 bucks or less :)"
MUST HAVE fot the Cibo Matto fan

"This album is probably the singularly most fun album in the entire Cibo Matto opus. Featuring guys from Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Skeleton Key and a cameo by Sean Lennon. Lots of different styles and influences. Very cool to hear the long-thought-dead New York punk sound coming back on "It's the Rage" -- who knew Miho could sing like that? Other highlights include the stoner-vibe of "How Do I Get High" and the weird combination of surf, swing, and spy on "Dick Serious". Lowest point is the aptly named "Mono Lisa", which is indeed just a loooooong pointless two-lyric drone-on. Yuka Honda's keyboards are really well incorporated into these tracks; absolutely nothing seems strange, out-of-place, or inaccessible. Probably the greatest side-band type of CD I've ever spent money on. Guaranteed to bring smiles...!"
