"This cd contains takes from two live-sets: Japan, july 63 and San Francisco september 62. I am especially impressed by the first 2/3 of the record which is from Japan. Bobby Timmons contagieous tune This here is performed in a absolutely fantastic version, with everyone playing like there is no tomorrow. Cannonball Adderley also demonstrates his natural gift of talking to the audience, not just through his music but by being a great conferencier too. The other tracks are the favourite material of the second sextet, with Joe Zawinul. The title track, Autumn leaves and the Jive samba are among the highlights. and by [gosh], it swings, certainly the candidate music for a house party. The chemistry between the members is really something else. Infectious music that never will wear out."

"This is by far my favorite jazz CD, and I have many. I've listened to it hundreds of times over the last 8 years and it still is in my car CD player. Most everyone I've played it to has been hooked. The song Dizzy's Business is in my head so often that I've adopted it as my internal theme. "Now I understand why the cherry trees grow in Washington.""

""Dizzy's Business" is another great release from the Cannonball Adderley Sextet. This music swings so hard. You won't be disappointed if you dig Adderley's '60s period. This sextet burns through some great tunes. Highly recommended.
