Harder to listen to than An Exercise in Humility

"I feel bad. After listening to this album only once, I recommended "An Exercise in Humility" *instead* of "Every Piece of Me" because I didn't like Canterbury Effect's new album as much as their previous record. I've changed my mind now. I'm tempted pull my recommendation, but I won't for one reason: if you're new to Canterbury Effect, buy "An Exercise in Humility" before you buy this album because IMO it's easier to listen to. However, people who already like the band should not hesitate to purchase this record. "Every Piece of Me" isn't produced as cleanly as it's predecessor, so I was initially turned off by it, but I grew to like it quickly after about 3 listens. Now it's in my daily rotation. It's been my experience that the better albums take a little while before they sink in...I should have known better than to make a recommendation after only one listen."
