"This album is really great, it's got a kind of ambient feel to it, though there are vocals, they are long drawn out. It really gives the feel of the southwest. I enjoy this better than Empty Rooms. Singing wise his voice has a kind of Jim James from My Morning Jacket thing going on, really a great experience, the complete album. Great for a hot summer night and a cold beer."

"Criminally underrated debut from "alt-country" outfit Canyon; it's like Pink Floyd lost in the desert with a Ry Cooder tape in a walkman that's running low on batteries. This album doesn't so much make you sleepy as mellooooowwwwww...... Fans of Radar Bros will dig this album, which is superior to the follow up, "Empty Rooms.""
