Great Music ... Poor Fidelity

"Don't get me wrong, Di Sarli is my favorite, and this is the work
he spent his life working toward and is most remembered for,
but the producers of this anthology didn't do his music or the
consumer any favors when they added a ton of reverb to the
music on this CD.
This music deserves better than hamfisted sound engineering,
so I'm giving this CD 2 stars.
If you want the best CD of late 50's Di Sarli instrumentals, I
highly recommend the Solo Tango release or the RCA Victor
100 Anos CD (neither yet on Amazon)."
Good music sunk by poor sound quality

"The music is good and Sarli is excellent for those just starting out in Tango. The problem here is it sounds muddy as if recorded in a large cavern on AM quality equipment. I will probably search for my favorite tracks on other releases. If you are looking for something just to listen to, look elsewhere."
