"Carlos Gardel is the original master of the tango and this is a great collection of his songs...it includes "Mano a Mano", which with it's wonderful, moving lyrics is one of my favorites and one that's left out of many of his CD compilations.Not only was he a superb singer, but as a songwriter wrote songs that are still being recorded by today's top artists. (Listen to the sublime rendition of "El Dia que me Quieras" by Alejandro Fernández in his "A la Manera" CD, for instance). These are classics, and will never sound dated.For anyone who loves the tango or Argentine music, a few Gardel CDs are a must, and this is a good one !"
