"I've never heard of Carlos Vives, other than what I've read on this page. I got the CD just because it said non-stop remixes. It's 48 minutes of 8 songs mixed together in a non-stop club beat. Here are the songs:
1. La Gota Fria (Pablo Flores Remix) -- has a nice Andean flute solo in the middle, and great electronics toward the end of the song
2. Pa' Maite (Pablo Flores Remix) -- heavy vallenato flavor, lighter club beat at first, but then digs in with some heavier beat
3. Fruta Fresca (Remix) -- This begins with awesome percussion with party sounds, then goes into some heavy electronics, then back to percussive emphasis
4. El Amor De Mi Terra (Remix) -- Driving beat, with up-front Andean flute in the middle
5. Dejame Entrar (Remix) -- Lively vallenato sounds, melodic vocals
6. Luna Nueva (Remix) -- Fast energy, more of a tropical sound, with more melodic vocals
7. Carito (Remix) -- Driving bass line and beat
8. Papa Dios (Remix) -- Lively dance beat, more solo singing than other tracks
Then there's a ninth track that is a 4 minute medley of songs from this album.
Nearly every song features Andean flute somewhere in the song. This is one of my favorite Latin dance albums because of its relentless beats, beautiful electronics, and the Andean and vallenato elements in it."
