"You can't go wrong with Carole King. I wanted to replace my copy of "Music" and hadn't ever owned "Really Rosie", so this was an affordable option. Keep in mind, this CD set is not a compilation, but individual copies of each CD packaged together. It is more affordable than purchasing all the CD's individually. It's a great way to share wonderful music with everyone in the family!"

"Planning for a car trip with one set of grandchildren, a 7-year old boy and a 4-year old girl, I purchased this collection of 3 CDs - The Collection: Really Rosie/Music/Tapestry. Listening to the great songs on "Tapestry," a favorite when it was released, remains a wonderful experience. I'd forgotten how well I know these songs and how much I love them. "Music," the second Carole King album, is less familiar, contains arrangements that sound a bit jazzier, and is unexpectedly lovely. Most important, our grandchildren LOVE the songs on "Really Rosie." Like their parents at a similar age, they especially like listening to the songs while reading the 4 small Nutshell Library books Nutshell Library (Caldecott Collection) that illustrate 4 of the songs. So successful is this music-book combination that I have purchased a second set of CDs and books for another set of out-of-state grandchldren, who also love it. (Our grandchildren are all 7 and younger.) On car trips we play each of the 4 songs illustrated in the Nutshell Library collection twice so that each child may take a turn reading and listening. "Alligators All Around" has become "our" song. On one sunny morning at a deserted playground, my grandchildren - one on the swings, the other on top of the slide - and I sang through the entire song at the top of our lungs, giggling when we couldn't remember the words & making up our own. The assembled family has spent hilarious moments rewriting the lyrics to suit our family vacation experiences: "A: Asking for Apple-dippers. . . . C: Climbing Cliffs. . . ." I'm at work on a vacation photobook that matches photos with the alphabet captions."
