great overview, but there are too many key tracks missing from her second (Tapestry), and 3rd (Music) LPs. You would be far better off getting those 2 cds. and if you need more, work your way up her catalog.

Carole King just keeps going. This Cd of her greatest hits is wonderful except for one drawback - there is one song I can think of that is missing "You've Got a Friend" and, unfortunately, that is my favorite. But the 14 trcaks here are beautiful. She stands the test of time.
