"I love this single! It has everything a good song should have: great melody/beat; catchy lyrics that tell a convincing story; and an artist with a good voice. And Carolyn Dawn Johnson and co-writer Troy Verges get points for a wonderful, overall great song; and the video's nice, too. I can relate to the lyrics--they say so much. For weeks the ending rang over and over in my head: "If I'm not over you by Georgia, then I'll head to Alabama, roll on to Mississippi, and maybe Louisiana. I'll drive all the way to California. Oh, I won't turn around . . . ."Haunting and beautiful! I hope CDJ's entire CD is full of great music like "Georgia." No matter where you're headed or why, this song is simply fantastic."
