It's nice to be able to find this album

"When I first heard The Carpettes, it was about fifteen years after they had made their mark on the 77 era of punk. While they get passed off as a "new wave" band or a power pop band, they hit just as hard as other similar acts of the era. The fact is, no one makes punk rock like this anymore. I wish that kids (god, listen to me now) who are into the movement today realize how hard it used to be to track music like this down. I was a DJ in college and I had to make a trip to England to find a beat-up old second-hand copy of "Frustration Paradise."
All that being said, "Best of Carpettes" is a great way to familiarize yourself with their music. In my experience, it's pretty difficult to track down their original releases, so this is a nice collection of their music."
