Synopsis
Product Description This is a WONDERFUL album. Al Jarreau and Randy Crawford really click as a duet pair on the three songs they sing together. Yellowjackets serve as a top notch backing band for most of the pieces on the album, and the tune they headline, Monmouth College Fight Song, is great loads of fun. Throughout the album, the musisians are really together and feeding off one another in the fine tradition of great jazz. The killer song here, tho, is Randy Crawford's cover of John Lennon's "Imagine". Probably the finest rendition of this song every recorded, it'll raise the hairs on your neck and land on you with every bit of emotion and feeling for humankind that Lennon put into that piece. "Casino Lights" is easily one of the best recordings in our music collection. Track Listings 1. Your Precious Love - Al Jarreau/Randy Crawford 2. CD ReviewsI like it for the Larsen Feiten trax Blues_King | Chesapeake, VA USA | 05/13/2009 (4 out of 5 stars) "This is a pretty good jazzy kind of album and I would recommend it. I like it for the Larsen Feiten trax, I collect Buzzy Feiten stuff and this is what brought me to this album. Larsen Feiten mainly play back up only but E Minor Song is a nice L&F tune not available anywhere else. The other trax are good, vocal good. A good album"
