"I bought this CD in 1999 and have listened to it frequently ever since. I listen to a lot of rave music, but find that the lyrics on this CD are very meaningful to me on a personal level. Buy it if you can still find. Cause and Effect deserve much more success than they have thus far achieved."
An overlooked masterpiece...

"At first listen, it seems a bit more mellow than the previous two albums, but with a little openmindedness, anyone will come to love this album as I did. Now I can't stop listening to it, because I've found a lot of personal meaning in the songs, which, by the way, are beautiful."
More Subtle Cause & Effect.......

"I love this album. A bit different from "Trip" album, "Innermost Station" is literally means just that! The songs in this album are definitely more subtle & mature. They seem to explore more their "Innermost-feeling." The album starts slow but it keeps developing into more upbeats & electronics. It definitely needs to be listened a few times before you finally found the "kick." Get this album while you can, because it seems getting harder & harder to find one! Peace!!"
It is good, but...

"Well, I am excited to hear this new material, but that is about as far as it goes. After the first listen, it pales in comparison to "Trip". I wish I could say that this is as good or even better than "Trip", but I just can't. Rowe still has a beautiful voice, and you CAN see the band moving in a different direction. Maybe they will have it down by the next album. For now, check out the songs "Overdose": it is simply gorgeous, and "Real?": a wonderful track. You should also check out their website: CauseandEffect.com. There is a completely re-recorded version of "World is Ours" which is FAR superior to the album version. It is worth the time to dowload and listen. Trust Me."
A worthy successor

"Though considerably more mellow than the previous two albums, this is a strong piece of work. C&E have matured and this album doesn't sound like it belongs in the 80s. Not as many "single"-type songs, but the album is solid throughout. C&E have developed their own sound outside of the "oh, that sounds like Depeche Mode" style that "Another Minute" had. Spacey and relaxed."
