"This band is the best primarily instrumental band I've heard in quite a while, being akin to psychedelic Krautrock as the Amazon reviewer says but so much more. Its also heavy, turn on a dime tight, loose when it needs to be and constantly surprising. Cave use repetition and addition as sharp edged composition tools much like Krautrock yet have an edge to them that recalls the best of Japanese noise/punk bands. Psychedelic yes, but not comprised of lengthy jams, the psychedelia resides in the concrete structures and dynamics of the compositions themselves. Every song is different with its own discrete charms from the (almost) garage rock of "Gamm" to the hyper speed "Made In Malaysia" to the funky no-wave "Encino Man". This is rock played by people interested in music, not just singing. One of the best recordings I've heard all year."
