Not enough new tracks for the price!

"Cashing in on the "80's hits update" craze that benefited Modern Talking and Bad Boys Blue so well during the past year or so, BMG has decided to do the same with CC Catch. Unfortunately, this is a very half-hearted attempt. Of the 20 tracks here, 2 are megamixes (short and long versions), and 4 consist of two new versions each of "I Can Lose My Heart Tonight" (a rap version and a new vocal version) and "Soul Survivor" (again, a rap version and a new vocal version). The remaining tracks are the same radio versions that have appeared on countless other CC Catch compilations, except for "Good Guys Only Win In Movies" which clocks in at 5:42 and which we all know is far from being her best song. They could have taken the "new" tracks and issued them on a CD single. If you're a diehard CC Catch fan, you'll probably want it. If not, you're not missing much. Her 1988 compilation "Diamonds" is a better buy. Heck, they didn't even bother to put a picture of CC herself anywhere on the cover or in the booklet. Overall, not a terrible album, but it sure doesn't break any new ground."
Could've been a whole lot better!!

"CC Catch is great but too many repeats from the old hits from the 80's. The whole album has only 4 new songs with 2 megamixes. If all the hits were remixed into '99 versions, it would've been best album yet!! I guarantee it!!"
Just a compilation with a few songs in new arrangements

".You should be lucky that this CD doesn't contain any songs from her worst album "Hear What I Say" (produced by one of DURAK DURAK on Polydor).Yes, it's just a compilation with a few songs in new arrangements. If you wish to listen to all her songs (written by DIETER BOHLEN), then you must buy 3CD-BOX "The Best Of C.C. Catch "The Ultimate Collection"" (18.09?2000 BMG 74321 75896-2) that contains 42 tracks - all the songs written by Dieter Bohlen for C.C. Catch !."
