CD Reviews"The end of Philly's Rap pioneers" "Old Skool" Ran-Dee | "Da' Bronx" | 09/05/2005 (3 out of 5 stars) "This CD was the last production from the now infamous, but for always legendary "Hill Top Hustlers" from Philly. C.E.B. was formed by Steady B, Cool-C & their manager LG. This is their poorest project ever and actually here they were following the current Hip-Hop trend at the time (9mm., 40 oz., blunts, etc.) Not the original Philly flavor we were acustommed from these pioneers from the 215. Mediocre production and lyrics, not typical of the Philly trio. Nothing classic here. Unfotunately, this CD marked the end of thir music careers and the begining of a short lived life of notorious bank robbers. Shortly after this CD was released, C.E.B. was caught in a bank heist in Pa. where a female Police Officer was shot dead. Today Cool-C sits in death-row awaiting execution and Steady B and LG are both doing life after turning states evidence on Cool-C." I loved it HOKESE | australia | 09/25/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "alot people that know who steady b and cool c are didnt really like this album they said they had toned down there lyrics, but not me i loved it,i havent found any of there music that i havent liked, the flow, the beats ,rhymes, delivery it all on point, this is still very easy to get and cheap,so get it while its still around,a must have slept on album.."
