After reading the translation of the songs I knew the lyrics were wonderful. Upon listening to the singing of Celia Cruz I heard an amazing voice. I would definitely recommend this box set to anyone who appreciates marvelous music. Would an understanding of the language help? Perhaps, but in no way does it diminish the performances of a remarkable talent, who after all these years still has a phenomenal voice(and of course Celia's talent has not diminished one bit)."
