"In my opinion this is her best album ever. I get chills everytime I listen to it. Several songs are written by DIANNE WARREN and one written by WALTER ALANASIEFF. If you are not aware of these two writers, they write great love songs. WALTER ALANASIEFF has co-written with MARIAH CAREY and others and DIANNE WARREN has written and produced so many hits for various artists. Celine also had the privilege to have a love song written by PRINCE called "With This Tear". There are also a few uptempo songs including the hit by DIANNE WARREN "Love Can Move Mountains". This is one of her classics albums. Buy it. You won't be sorry."
Wonderful Album

"Celine's second English album is a treat for the ears. The self titled album features 13 great songs, and she sounds wonderful. Some of my favorite Celine Dion songs are on here, such as the wonderful ballad "Nothing Broken But My Heart", the tragic and sad Prince song "With This Tear", to name a few. The big hits of the album were "Love Can Move Mountains", an uptempo inspirational number, "If You Asked Me To", a wonderful ballad (although I also enjoy Patti Labelle's version of this song), the duet with Peabo Bryson on "Beauty and the Beast". "Water From The Moon" was a single but not a well known hit, it's a nice ballad that should have performed better than it did. Kenny G contributes on "Halfway To Heaven", which is a nice song. The album features 5 songs written by Diane Warren, and they are all nice. All in all, this is a solid album, every Celine fan must own. Highlights include: "Water From The Moon", "With This Tear", "Nothing Broken But My Heart", "If You Asked Me To", "Beauty and The Beast", "Love Can Move Mountains" and "Show Some Emotion". A treat."

"When I first heard, 'If You'd Ask Me To', I didn't like it, but I loved 'Water From the Moon' and 'Nothing's Broken But My Heart'. Yet no Celine Dion song tops 'With This Tear' which was written by The Artist (aka Prince). 'With This Tear' is a real tear jerker especially when you hear the emotion she has when she sings it and when you read the beautiful, poetic lyrics. I think The Artist did an excellent job writing that song, and he wrote it for the perfect singer! Celine's got the voice and she's got the perfect music style for that golden voice of hers."

"I highly recommend this CD. It was the first one I bought of Celine Dion and fell in love with her music. My favorite song is "Water from the Moon" and it can not be found on her greatest hits CDs."
Possibly her best album

"I love this cd. I think that this and her first English album were/are her best. The songs on here are beautiful and her voice is outstanding. I know many people think this is sappy mush but honestly, can't you appreciate her immense talent. She really is superb and if you can go and see her in Las Vegas before the run ends, then I highly recommend that too. The show blew me away. It's undescribable. This cd is great and should be part of all your collections."
