My favorite recording of the Dvorak Cello Concerto

"I remember reading an unfavorable review of this recording of the Dvorak Cello Concerto when it was released (that was when there were record stores and people went to Tower Records for cd's--now you have to buy everything at Amazon.com. Even the huge Virgin Megastore in Hollywood, CA has closed. LOL) I love this recording because the fidelity is superb and the orchestra sounds fabulous. Ofra gives a clean performance which is less intense and dramatic than many other recordings and that's fine with me--the music really speaks for itself."
