"This album distills the immense talents and repertoire of a truly unique Irish folk group. Finbar Furey leads ensemble consisting of his musical brothers and Davey Arthur. This album's music ranges from songs you'd invariably think of (such as "Maggie," "I Will Take You Home Again, Kathleen") through selections of tunes that were popular at the turn of the 20th century ("When You Were Sweet Sixteen," "Beautiful Dreamer") to nearly contemporary folk tunes ("Morning Has Broken," "Scarlet Ribbons"), all stunningly sung in Davey Arthur's rich and earthy interpretations. The orchestration is superb: haunting Uillean pipes, graceful fingerstyle guitar, mandolin, fingerstyle banjo (definitely not your garden variety Bluegrass), Bodhran (Irish hand drum), and various whistles. I highly recommend this genuine treat in the Celtic tradition to any fan of folk music."
