Cha Cha...........Hot! ........but not recgonized!

(4 out of 5 stars)

"This new one from Cha cha is a good solo debut. Tight I should say...since she had to compete with so much competition...(Lil KIm, Foxy, Rah digga, charli, lady luck, sole, Eve, missy, amil, mia x, etc.....) The beats on here are tight and I think most of them were produced by Shakespere briggs(bills bills(destiny's child) No scrubs(Tlc)) The song that will get u really listening is Dear Diary...she did some tight flows for that song. I think shes better than charli, rah digga and few other new emcees thats out now. the thing is that she isn't getting the recognition that she deserve. The song New milleium (what u gonna do) has a deep, horror kinda sound to it but it's good too, and the remix by jermaine dupri. The song here "sunglasses" I think is a remix of an old 80's song. It sounds something like the one lil kim will have out soon....but lil kim's is better. Overall I would say If u got eve, lauryn, missy, kim, foxy, and your still looking for another good female emcee...with a new sound? Then Cha cha is the best bet for u. The beats and flows here is a step up and just brings something new to rap for female emcees. She is young but the things she talks about are real and believeable and when she says it, u can see that coming from her.get it...and find out what's in the diary."

"I had to cop this album back in 2001 because I had a feeling that

I wasnt going to be disappointed and I was right! Cha Cha is classy female rapper that doesnt have to stoop like these other over-hyped rap hookers(lil kim, trina, khia, etc)do all the time. My favorite cuts: dear diary, its like that, set it off, where da paper at, m.o.m.m.y. whatcha wanna do, the jermaine dupree remix of whatcha wanna do and can you make it hot like this. This sister has skills and can be easily accepted into the best female MC list. The only weak song on the album is here we go again but this record does not bring down the rest of this album.

If you want to hear female rapper with skills who has better things to talk about than just sex than Cha Cha is your girl if you're into the freaks holler at those garbage ass rap hookers listed earlier in this review."
