Debussy for everyone

"Anyone who likes chamber music and/or Debussy will love these 2 records. Containing a wide selection of Debussy's chamber repertoire from the dreamy and impressionistic early String Quartet No2 to the dark and haunting late chamber works, these are pieces to be listened to time and again. The playing, by a variety of artists, including Menuhin and Christian Ferras, is always excellent. My only regret is that they do not include the recently rediscovered youthful String Quartet No 1, an absolutely fascinating piece, if you can ever get hold of it."
