Founded in 1986, the Chicago Chamber Musicians (CCM) is a society of professional musicians and music devotees dedicated to excellence in the study and performance of chamber music. CCM has grown to be a national leader in providing the highest quality programs in artistic development, concert performance, and education. Creativity, generosity of spirit, and artistic drive are the ensemble?s hallmarks as they strive to share the joy of music with the public, thereby enriching the cultural life of Chicago and beyond. Established by four artists, CCM now has thirteen ensemble members including Chicago Symphony Orchestra Principal Clarinet Larry Combs, Assistant Principal Oboe Michael Henoch, and former Associate Principal Horn Gail Williams. CCM has performed throughout the United States as well as Tokyo, Salzburg, Berlin, and Giverny, France.
