"I heard the first song of this cd on the radio and had to buy it. I wish this style of music would spread. The first two two songs are smooth and sweet. Way to go Mr. Wood on some great organ music."

"Smooth as silk would describe this mans voice. The musical arrangements that surround his voice can be complex at times but never draw away or flush out the sweetness and purity that is Charlie's voice. The whole album is strong although the standout tracks are:1 - One Kind Word - Poppy blues that will get you thinking about the ex and siging along on the expressway.2 - Back to Where It Was Before - A great number that shows off Charlies talent very well both vocally and musically.5 - I Believe I Could Fall in Love Again - A great song that can choke the heart but kicks you right in the butt by the time it's over8 - Lucky Charm - The sweetest song on the album. A song about how the right woman can make any man a great man.Whenever I've gotten to see Charlie live he never disappoints. Go check him out.... Buy his CD's too. If you have any interest at all in blues music you cant go wrong with Charlie. Keep cranking them out man!"
