"Oh dear indeed. Having purchased "Skin" and "Someday", which were out last year in the U.K., I was desperate to have Charlotte's new single. I was in for a real disappointment, however, upon hearing the Junior Vasquez mixes. Vasquez has totally lost the plot as far as remixing is concerned, sticking to his bland, auto-pilot formula which does nothing to enhance the original material. As he's having heaps of money thrown at him constantly to remix almost everything, he might at least make the effort to try something different. The last remix he did which was of any credit was Skunk Anansie's "Brazen" - absolutely mindblowing. Three years on, and at the age of no less than 50, Vasquez seems only to care about the $, turning about lame remix after lame remix whilst making a fortune at the same time. None of the creativity or innovation demonstrated by both Club 69 in their absolutely breathtaking remix of "Skin", or Keith Litman when he remixed "Someday", are apparent here. Vasquez - heed my advice, retire - as soon as possible, even though your senility and lack of imagination is making you a fortune. As for Vasquez & Danny Tenaglia's mutual hatred of each other - Tenaglia is the man! A true innovator not afraid to experiment. Charlotte's name should be totally disassciated with such drivel, as she is worthy of so much more."
