"With the 7th of Never being my introduction to Chastain I'm slightly biased, but it is one of the best metal discs I've ever heard. Excluding the instrumental, in my opinion it repeats itself too much (yet I still don't find the need to skip it either), every song is killer. Also better than expected production for an indy release.

Much the same can be said for Voice of the Cult, it a great, solid metal disc.

Having both on one disc is so worth it, even if it is somewhat edited from their original releases. Some songs are cut down... but you lose nothing because they only fade them out earlier, nothing is really lost.

I find it surprising no guitar players have added reviews, I don't play, but the cat that played 7th for me is, and I've also met a bunch of others that really dig these two albums.

You don't have to play to dig these discs."
