"When I first bought Cheb Mami's Lazrag Saani CD, I had never heard of any of the songs on the track. The language that he sings in is arabic with the algerian accent and dialect, which was very different from the arabic that I know. Who cares, I said, I just love his voice... Little did I know that my understanding of the Algerian accent was better than I thought it was. I understand most of his songs now and they are so CUTE... some of them are really sad, some of them are just beatiful, and my personally favorite song (track nine; salou maana) is about Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)!!!! I'm sure that everyone will love his voice and lyrics (I brought in a handful of my friends in to his music). Even if you don't understand what he's saying, the music and melody will at least have you tapping your foot if not busting out with a dance. And if you are curious enough, then search his lyrics and find an english translation.... you'll love it..... GUARANTEED!!!!"
