Limited edition release focusing on this uber diva's hit years for MCA in the first half of the '70s. The first disc, 'The Collection', sports of 16 of her best from this period, including the #1 smashes 'Gypsies, Tramps And Thieves', 'Dark Lady' & 'Half Breed', plus the top 10 hit 'The Way Of Love'; the second CD contains two original LPs together on one disc, 1973's 'Half Breed' & 1974's 'Dark Lady'; the third & final CD also contains two original LPs together on one disc, 1971's 'Cher' & 1972's 'Foxy Lady'. A grand total of 57 tracks. Each disc comes in a separate standard jewel case with the original cover art intact & together they come inside of a full color CD-sized slipcase box. 1999 release.

"If your after Cher's all time great songs in one package. BUT THIS SET. Featuring Gypsies Tramps & Thieves, Dark Lady and all the greats Cher is well known for, including all those hard to get tracks as well. It may seem expensive but you'll have hours of fun listening to 57 great tracks!"

"I am a huge Cher fan, it started with Believe and then I got most of the older albums. This collection has the Gypsies, Tramps, and Thieves album(71)--originally entitled "Cher"--Foxy Lady(72), Half-Breed(73), and Dark Lady(74), as well as a collection of great songs-most of which are all ready in the two cd collection of these great LP's. It has songs I have not had in my collection before, Never Been to Spain, the complete Half-Breed album--not to be confused with a cd called Halfbreed, which is a a greatest hits collection of the four albums-- and other cool, hard to find songs on CD. If you want an album were you know all of the songs, get the Greatest Hits, but if you are a real Cher fanatic-go for it. You won't be disapointed!"

"Die Hard Fans, run to the closest music store and buy this! This rarity set includes the complete and original «Half-Breed», «Dark Lady», «Foxy Lady» & «Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves» albums. The songs are beautifully re-mastered with great sound quality. Cher's vocals & orchestrations sound stunning.
Also available in this set, «The Ultimate Collection» CD, a compilation that covers the best songs from Cher's career 1970-1974.
The only excluding thing the label didn't include is the original album covers.
Strictly Recommended."
