Awesome music, but some sound quality issues.

"Let me tell you I'm one of the first ones to buy a new Chicago Mass Choir album when it's released. Their albums ALWAYS have high quality singing, arrangements, songs, and musicianship -- always with the Message intact. They have a well-deserved reputation for being one of the most enduring and consistently good mass choirs today. This album is no different! Each track will take you to church in a modern way, but always in a traditional manner. The only thing that keeps me from giving this album 5 stars is because there are some noticeable sound quality issues that give a few tracks the sound of an LP needle not being fully on the record, for those of you that remember what that sounds like. I don't fault the choir for this, but rather their label for not catching it in time. I listened to more than one copy just to make sure that I didn't have a "lemon" and sure enough, it was in the pressing. Hopefully this has been corrected in future pressings.PLEASE don't let that stop you from buying this otherwise high-quality gem of a gospel CD, though. I just want to set your expectations so you weren't surprised by that one fault like I was! Instead, treat yourself to the powerful and enduring ministry of the Chicago Mass Choir, and be blessed."
