CD ReviewsTruly a beautiful album 4256 reasons why | southern ohio | 08/18/2008 (5 out of 5 stars) "i probably have had all rtf fusion albums for 20 years, but i had never heard this ecm album [ friends of mine did not recomend it, they said it was to light weight. it certainly is not light weight, there is plenty of heat delivered. but the corea electric piano sound on the interludes are very haunting, and yes it does have that icey ecm sound. also flora purim"s vocals here and there are very complementary ,joe farrell has always been an underated saxaphonist, check out andrew hills dance with death, and his own moon germs albums, also this album is better than light as a feather. thats was my main concern . that album was more derivitive. this is a classic. the only complaint i have is a little tape hiss here and there, but not enough to take away from the enjoyment of the album."
