"chisel is one of the most under-appreciated bands from the late 90's. they were the new "indie rock" before the new indie rock actually became popular. it's a shame they are no longer around, because they were awesome live. they are catchy without being annoying, which is a pretty hard thing to master.even years after buying this album, i still play it every few months if i feel like dancing alone in my room."
Mod/Pop/Punk at its best

"A great full-length debut release from this now-defunct trio from Washington, DC, Chisel builds up a great wall of guitar noise then crafts it into catchy mod-pop with punkish overtones. They've been compared dozens of times to Superchunk, and they should take it as a sincere compliment. Turn up the volume when listening, and I guarantee you'll be tapping your feet."
