This is 'Revved-Up Rockabilly'; a name The Chop Tops have coined to describe their sound. The music encompasses not just the rockabilly genre, but also the psychobilly, punk, surf, teddy boy, Oi/ska, blues & country scenes as well! They've played with Brian Setzer, Rev Horton Heat, Dick Dale, Lynk Wray (RIP), John Lee Hooker (RIP), Wanda Jackson, Dwight Yokham Band, Joan Jett, Dead Kennedys, Agent Orange, DOA, Angry Samoans and that s just a few from the multiple genres they appeal to. They ve been very fortunate to win these diverse crowds over with their unique Revved-Up blend of music styles. 'Deadly Love' (the bands 5th release) is being produced by Kim Nekroman of Nekromantix and engineered by Niedermeier of The Horror Pops! For the last 13 years The Chop Tops have been building a huge following and fan base in the States. At a blurring 200+ shows, 30+ states toured, and 40,000+ miles traveled for the last 4 years the band keeps going strong. They ve played the Van s Warped Tour twice, and have done 3 US tours with Hellcat records band Nekromantix & 2 with Mad Sin as well as 8 full US tours on our own to date.
