"of all of chris and coseys albumns this is my liest favorite. it sounds much like fast-throwaway Psychic TV (the rave type stuff) every other albumn that I have by chris and cosey are fantastic explorations of subsonic soundscapes and are highly reccomended... but you should skip this one if you normaly like chris and coseys music"

""Skimble Skamble" is easily a favorite C&C album for both myself and feedback from others I've gotten as well. Experiencing a wonderful variety of musickal explorations on various levels and themes; from faster bpm to slower tracks, a part of the C&C tradition that makes their work so much fun to explore. Always lush and intoxicating this album, and a great further evolution of their styles and forays, which is something that has kept them alive and at the electronic forefront, producing excellent work which is always original and timeless. This album matches "Love & Lust" in my favorites."

"This was one of the last «song oriented» C & C album, with some masterpieces like « Real Time» a rave oriented transe composition wonderfully produced, some incredible exploratory songs sounding unique with heterophonical settings and Cosey's awesome voice, always interesting lyrics, wonderful use of electronic instrumentation (remember - Carter have been an instrument maker in the past), nd also few very tacky songs, floating between ridiculous and absurdity, always blurring this edge between humour ans mystical experience in, of course, a great exotica album setting. Still quite radical in a sense so you will really love or hate. Recommended."

"Really tehy have done quite a lot better stuff in the past that needs to be explored before you think of buying this. Compared to thier early stuff it does not stand a chance."
