In Need Of Parental Supervision

"This would be a fairly good album by today's standards from a very talented young man, were it not poisoned by one thing; this young 16 going on 25-year-old's potty mouth.
I could not be less impressed by 99.99% of swearing in one SINGLE SONG! Where in the Sam Hill was his mother when he was recording it? Is she proud?
Call me 25 going on 90 if you wish, but I think it's unacceptable for this boy to be releasing records like that, and grinding on young girls in videos at his age. I'm not stupid, I'm fully aware that there are kids WITH kids younger than him - but that doesn't mean it should be encouraged or condoned. My views might be out of the ordinary but I firmly believe that musical culture - and the media in general - need to quit stamping out the rite of passage that is childhood and reinforcing the notion that it's okay for babies to go from the womb to the bedroom, not necessarily stopping off for birth control en route.
Anywhoo the point is his foul-mouthed, much-too-adult, behaviour spoiled this generally good album for me. It would have been more than enjoyable for an adult offering."

"Excuse Me Miss, Run It, Say Goodbye, Poppin' and Ain't No Way (You Won't Love Me) are the standouts.
Thank You and Run It (Remix) are stupid crappy songs and should have stopped filling the disc with pointless drivel.
Anyway, this CD is decent fun. It is primarily Hip-Hop and R&B-fused production and there are some ballads present.
Chris is a decent singer but now he needs to start writing some of his hits. He will be big in the future though. Just wait and see!
So Glad is a bonus track.
3.5 stars."
