"This CD is much different than Resurrection but it is just as good. It is all in Spanish and even though I can't understand a
word I love listening to it anyway. I can't wait for his next release."

"What a disappointment!!! I was hoping that Chris Perez's new album would be a continuation of Resurrection. The art on the CD even suggests this...Chris is depicted in silhouette with his guitar, apparently ready to rock. One quick listen to this CD sadly proves otherwise.I would describe Resurrection as very cool rock/blues/latin album, very thickly mixed and arranged, with lots of substance. Hell, I couldn't even understand the songs in Spanish, and I still liked them. Una Noche Mas, on the other hand, can probably be best described as yet another borning Tejano clone, mixed with some cheesy *N'Sync sounding stuff...essentially, the kind of music you'll hear at most any Mexican-American wedding reception. My question is: Why the hell did they change their sound? What they had in Resurrection was unique and deeply enjoyable. The only thing that Resurrection needed was a little more guitar. Speaking of guitar...where is the guitar on Una Noche Mas? On most songs, it's barely noticeable! Did Chris even work on this album, or did he just loan his name out to a local Tejano group so they could make a CD and rip-off innocent bystanders like myself, who were impressed by Resurrection???If you're looking for something similar to Resurrection, don't bother with Una Noche Mas. If you need a CD to play at your cousin's wedding reception in Laredo, this one will do."
