"I am in shock and awe that few people seem to be aware of this recording. ( I draw this conclusion from the fact I'm the first to review this cd)I suppose players like the wunderkid Hilary Hahn or Lara St. John are more popular... but my introduction to Bach's works for solo violin began with Ms. Edinger. She plays with an intensity and passion that is unmatched and has a flawless technique. Each and every note is heard in perfect clarity.Furthermore, the recording quality is excellent- no backround noise or audio hiss.J.S. Bach was a romantic at heart, and Ms. Edingers exquisite playing is testament to this fact.This is the recording to own. And at this price....what are you waiting for?"
