On her album for Warner Classics, Christianne will sing with various combinations of musicians with whom she often works: Breinl, Tamestit, brother Rick Stotijn, Toon Fret, Olivier Boekhoorn and the Oxalys Ensemble.
She will present 21 well-known and less familiar songs, all sharing the fundamental theme of 'nature and religion.' From works by Martin, Ravel and Mussorgsky, to a world premiere by Dutch composer Fant de Kanter, and featuring song texts in Hebrew, Armenian, Russian, French, English, German and Dutch, this promises to be a beautiful and highly diverse album."
