Christine Campbell (Vocals, Keyboard, Narratives) is an award winning singer, composer, and ASCAP recording artist. She is also a committed environmental and social activist. Her music has been used to raise awareness for the homeless, elderly and environment. She received the film industries Cine Golden Eagle Award for her musical score for the End of the Day, a film on elder abuse. She performs regularly in the tri-state area, maintains a vocal arts studio, offers community drumming circles, and nature awareness classes. *** Please note that 10% of proceeds received for this CD - will go directly to a Wildlife organization. Currently they will go to Lakota Wolf Preserve in Columbia ,NJ. Christine Campbell listens deeply to the natural world and those around her. She uses her voice and multi instruments to bring these forgotten songs to the modern ear. She seeks to speak for those who are not heard and those who have been silenced. On a Vision Quest she became acquainted with two wolves, and began hearing their stories. She listened, translated, then created a vessel for music, to bring them forth. Musicians John Swana, Chico Huff, Joe Mullen and storyteller John Canan also heard the howl of the wolves. Together they translated these visions into the Musical Journey you will hear. Joe Mullen ~ extraordinary percussionist lays a sturdy yet magical foundation for this engaging story.
