Stunning!

"Many chamber choirs ruin the essentially intimate nature of the music they sing by belting every line out with equal vigor and absolutely warbling the top line. This is definitely not the case, as the choir gives a dynamic, intimate and well balanced performance. No shrill sopranos here! Rich intonation, technically flawless diction (it's easy for even native speakers to splutter when singing in German), good balance between choir and orchestra; this recording is amazing. The choir's sound is compact, fluid, polished, and even reverent! The soloists are wonderful, emotive without being pushy. A truely great collection of music, perfect for evoking a reverent holiday mood or just relaxing at the end of a long day."
