"This is simply a terrific compilation of one of the most influental pioneers in rock music. Contaning 56 tracks recordings for Chess Records during 1956-1971.
Many of these songs will be well-known to fans of British rhythm`n blues groups of the 1960`s like the Rolling Stones, Pretty Things and the Kinks. Here you get the original versions, which in most cases outshine later cover-versions.
There is a lot of fun in these old songs, which show that Berry is not only a great highly original song-writer but also a fine lyricist.
I won`t bring out any particular tracks, except his 1964 song, "You Never Can Tell" which has always been a favourite of mine.
The 16 pages booklet give a good but short overview of his career, but will probably leave wanting to learn more about this extraordinary musician's life and music."
