"It's loud, it's rude, and very, very funny. Keith Morris and the boys attack each track with a manic ferocity--whamwhamwhamwham--as if they might die if they don't get all this crap off their chests ASAP. Funniest punk band this side of The Dead Milkmen. Their "Golden Shower of Hits" (a pardoy of those old Starz on 45 discs from the late 70s) is one of those utterly wonderful moments in punk rock history, when a band in its howling-good prime excoriates a whole generation of lesser "recording artists" just for the heck of it. More fun than the you should be allowed to have with a discman . . ."
The Jerks 3rd and Last Truly Great Record.....

"As far as sound goes, this is a lot closer to "Wild In The Streets" than "Group Sex", and while Wild may be their best(depends on who you ask), this is really good. In Your Eyes, Parade Of The Horribles, When The ... Hits The Fan, and Under The Gun are the obvious greats on here, but the not so obvious ones like High Price On Our Heads, Red Blanket Room, Coup d'etat and Product Of My Enviroment are also great, and the rest is good too. After this one the only original members are Greg and Keith, and to me they never reached this kind of greatness again. The last truly great C.J. record."
Golden Shower of Hits, Circle Jerks style.

"The Circle Jerks return with another collection of punk driven pop songs. Tracks like Coup d' tat and When the Sh#@ Hits the fans are punk classics. The band shows their cheesy side when they do a medley of "hits" (the real highlight of the album). Sounds like they were having fun when they recorded the last track. Not as angry and bleak as their last disc. A true collection of golden shower "hits".
Highly recommended."
Better than the last one

""Group Sex" was a masterpiece but "Wild In The Streets" was boring. The Circle Jerks came as close as they ever did to returning to form with "Golden Shower Of Hits". There are some [bad] songs on here, but their are also some good ones like "In Your Eyes", "Coup D'Etat" and "When The Sh*t Hits The Fan". "Jerks on 45" is probably the biggest highlight on this album (it seems that after "Group Sex", the Circle Jerks' best songs seemed to be cover songs)."
