"This music is powerful, beautiful, driving rock with a chant-like, hypnotic element. It builds on itself like a mantra. And it is heavy! This is one of my favorites!"
Circle - 'Pori' (Metamorphos)

"Looks to be the sixth CD release by this 'progressive art rock' band from Pori, Finland. Several years back, I got to check out a couple of their other titles. But, I liked 'Pori' pretty well. Tracks I got the most out of were "Vesitorni / Kaupunginsairaala", "Back To Pori", "Kruunu Paaha Pori Kuningas" and the thirteen-minute epic "Porin Jazz Juhlat". The band sings their lyrics in Finnish, but also a language they - made up themselves, Muronian. Very clever. Line-up: Jussi Lehtisalo-keyboards, guitar & vocals, Teemu Elo-guitar & vocals, Teemu Niemela-keyboards and Janne Peltomaki-drums. Might possibly appeal to fans of Escapade, Faust, and Ektroverde."
Around and around we go

"this band is great. long droning repetitive rock riffs that continue to spiral and loop around each other for infinity. the drums march along with thoughtful and precise beats and the bass keeps things grounded in form. this is spacey loud tribal rock and roll that is both heavy and tight. imagine Hawkwind and Can jamming for eternity..then add that special ice cold Finnish touch and you've got yourself Circle.
"Pori" is an exceptional album. there are no vocals on this recording."
