"I'm guessing that most people that come to check out citizen fish albums are doing so mostly out of reverence for the subhumans (for those that don't know, it is pretty much the exact same lineup..give or take a horn player), but I feel the band needs more recognition for its own endeavors. I too started listening to them because of the subhumans, but while I just listen to the subhumans for nostalgia's sake these days, I find myself listening to citizen fish on a daily basis. I must say though that I felt CF had been getting in a bit of a rut in recent albums, but AG really breaks out of that rut. The whole album is catchy, and can make an old punk feel as though they are still part of the scene, while not having to hang out with a bunch of 16 year old mohawked idiots. Anyway, buy it."
Great punk with reggae influence.

"If you have stayed away from this band because of their ska and reggae influence, take a second look. This is great punk with reggae influence, often mixing both rhythms in a single song. The songs contain great political lyrics, sung with classic snearing vocals. This reminds me a lot of the great late 70s English punk that had a lot of reggae influences, but they definitely have their own sound. And for those that hate ska or horns, there is only one song with horns, and it sounds great to me and I don't like ska! Highly recommended."
