Manifest Destiny is a musical exploration of 19th-century America. Its six songs touch upon the Civil War, the Great Diamond Hoax of 1872, the Industrial Revolution, and more! Rock junkies and academics alike will be satisfied as never before, because Clawjob has infused this EP with crunchily diseased guitars, viciously abused drums, and excitingly humiliated synthesizers! The lush opening track, "The Era of Good Feelings," will, from its bittersweet first chord, make tears shoot from your eyes at the speed of musket balls. Shaped by flesh puncturing guitars, "Slice Me Up" is quick blast of battlefield surgery rock. The hypnotic bass of "Ether Frolic" will transport you to a gathering of the 1800's upper crust as they inhale novel and copious gases. All of this, just in the first half of the EP!
