The title track "Rumor Has It" and "Then What" really show the diversity of Clay walker's style. He is musically and vocally strong on this album and a great example of the New Country Style of the 90's

Rumor Has It...

"When I purchased this CD I had listened to Clay's "Greatest Hits" and I just feel in love with the song "Then What", So I got "Rumor Has It" and discovered that he had more hits that were not on the GH's album. This cd has so many songs that could have been #1's. I think that "Heart Over Head Over Heels" is my favorite off of this album. If you are going to buy any of Clay Walkers work make it "Rumor Has It" or "Greatest Hits""
One of Clay Walker's best albums

""Rumor Has It" is definitely Clay Walker's best album other than his greatest hits album in my opinion. You'll recognize a lot of hits such as "Watch This," "Rumor Has It," and one of the hits that should've been on his greatest hits, "Country Boy and City Girl." The songs that weren't hits such as "I Need A Margarita" and "You'll Never Hear The End of It" are also good songs. There's not a bad song on this album. If you like Clay Walker's music, I recommend getting this album, it's one of his best."
'Rumor' DOES have IT!

"This '97 release is the fourth of Walker's now five albums (not including 'Greatest Hits'), and should be included in any fan's collection. There is not a weak cut on the album, and in my opinion, seven outstanding ones. Fans can find three of these included on the 'Greatest Hits' album (the title song, 'Watch This' and 'Then What'), but they'll have to buy this album to own 'I'd Say That's Right,' 'Heart Over Head Over Heels,' 'You'll Never Hear the End of It' and my personal favorite, 'One, Two, I Love You.' 'One, Two, I Love You' is a special song that would make a GREAT Valantine gift from/to anyone still involved in a relationship that began in childhood. Happy giving."
Clay's Best Album

"Clay Walker has put together a wonderful collection of songs for this album. Clay uses a blend of two-steppin', George Strait style country with a touch of Tex-Mex to create excellent songs like "I Need a Margaita" and "Then What". Then Clay hits you with "One, Two, I Love You", a song that has tradition written all through it. For those who like the song "Hypnotize the Moon", wait until you hear "Watch This"! One word can sum up this artist: CLASS."
