"In November 1997, I saw Closer open for Chumbawamba. It was the first time that I thought the opening band was better than the main act! They have an Oasis kind of sound, but offer a lot more musically. The lead singer has a fantastic voice that works well with the music and lyrics.I bought this CD from the lead singer after the show... Since then, I have bought this album at least 5 times. Mostly because the old ones get scratched somehow, or I loan them out and don't get them back. My wife and the 3 friends that went with me to the concert all agree that this group rocks! Get this CD while it's still available as it seems this group fell off the face of the planet. :("
