"Chamber Music is by far the greatest rock cd of late 99 and early 2000. Coal Chamber's first album was awesome but it's influences we're clear, and lacked dynamics. Chamber Music takes Coal Chamber to their own new genre. With all the Rap-Metal junk the radio stations pipe into the air, tracks like "Tyler's Song" "Notion" and the unexpectedly incredible "My Mercy" (featuring Aimee Echo from the late Human Waste Project) show that hard rock isn't doomed. Dez's lyrical hooks and melodies leave you singing along to every song. Meeg's has much dynamic range to his guitar playing range, from heavy unforgettable riffs, to dark echoing strings that make you feel as if you we're in a horror film. Mike and Rayna also have shown much improvement. I'd easily say that Mike puts any of the new rock drummers to shame. Coal Chamber is a band that is going to stick around, and eventually take over. You might as well come along for the ride."

"I was introduced to Coal Chamber by a friend around 5yrs ago.
In that time frame I have fallen in love with the bands music,
the strong and moody lyric's that some echo on the pain of life and gothic style strings in the backgrounds,
the awesome guitar notes are all ear candy.
Chamber Music is my favorite album, and in my thoughts their best.
Track 12; My Mercy is my favorite song of the 16 tracks; the slow guitar strums and vocals,
then it goes into rock in the middle of the song to add to the aura of the song.
I also love, "Tylers Song, No Home, Feed My Dreams and Shock the Monkey with Ozzy."
If your just starting to listen or a long time listener and have not gotten this album yet, please do.
Its a wonderful addition to any gothic collection."
Wonderful!

"This album blows their other two (Coal Chamber and Dark Days) out of the water! I was actually disappointed with Dark Days because it just didn't show Coal Chamber's talent the way Chamber Music does. That's just my opinion. All the songs are listenable and enjoyable. When you listen to it, pretend like you've never heard the other two albums and the go back to the other two, you will see this a different way. This is without a doubt, the peak of Coal Chamber's creativity and they'll have to better than Dark Days to impress me next time."

"This CD was awful. Most of the Coal Chamber fans will love this CD, but as far as this CD being better-it isn't. The lyrics are still dumb, the Ozzy remake was a disaster, the guitar riffs were dull, and the composition was horrible. The expectations were not fulfilled. This CD bites! Don't waste your money, and Coal Chamber quit your day job."
Best Coal Chamber, easily

"i first heard of Coal Chamber a few years ago when i first watched the movie "Resident Evil"the song at the end, "Something Told Me" i thought was a really good song. so i downloaded it and enjoyed it for quite a bit...a few years down the road, i saw Chamber Music in HMV i was in and thought id might as well get it, since i really didnt know much Coal Chamber thenso i got home, stuck it my stereo and was BLOWN AWAY. the is the only CC album i own rite now, and it is an awesome album.
there's isnt a single bad song (except for maybe "Mist", but then again its just an intro)song that really stick are songs like "Not Living", "Tyler's Song", "Tragedy"(a great way to start off , by the way), and my favourite "Untrue". there's also an interesting cover "Shock The Monkey" (i forget who sung it originally) with the legendary OZZYas a whole, this is an awesome album.its one of the few albums i can listen to all the way thru. this is definitely something any CC fan should have. also a great album for people who are new to CC (like me :>)"
