"I've been singing the praises of this WAYYY underrated band for over a decade,now!! This is the previously unreleased demo to their 1990 debut c.d. It contains stripped-back versions of a few songs from that disc as well as a few that didn't make it onto the debut.Even in this under-produced,rawer format-these songs are fantastic!! C.O.W. are one of those rare bands that knows exactly how to put a song across with 'MEGA' appeal for the listener-the kind of songs that you just CAN'T get outta your head!If you love power-pop such as Cheap Trick,Bad Co.,Bryan Adams,mixed with a touch of Stones,classic Rod Stewart,Black Crowes,and throw in just a smidge of L.A.sleaze-then you owe it to yourself to find the debut AND their new one called 'Steryl Spycase'!!! This is just plain and simple STELLAR songwriting and a seriously talented bunch of guys!! Look 'em up-I promise you'll LOVE it!!"
