"I love my old Ben van Oosten Vierne cycle (who wouldn't) but this one is a glorious revelation played masterfully on a very, very French sounding North American organ (Yale University).

Martin Jean's tempi are fast, no beating about the bush here, and it suits the acoustic of Newberry. His use of stops is as good as it gets for true French sonorities (in my humble opinion). I dream about Mr Jean recording the Widor sonatas on the same wonderful organ."
